The second edition of our "Handbook for Selling a Company" has been published today. It is based on our everyday practice and explains the process of selling a company step by step. We go into the preparations that significantly improve the chances of success. It explains how suitable buyers are identified, how due diligence is prepared and carried out and what the contents of a sale-and-purchase agreement are. The second part discusses special sales situations such as the sale to managers or the process of an "owner buy-out". The book is rounded off with illustrative checklists that help to assess the current company situation, the selling prospects and the availability of the necessary documents.
